The tranquillity of Adam, his wife Menley and their baby daughter, Hannah, is disturbed during their summer retreat to Cape Cod. Strange things start to happen - incidents which remind Menley of the horror of an accident in which she lost her son, Bobby - and she begins to fear for Hannah.
