The cover designed by Mr. Ketan Mehta, is a revelation of the contents of this volume depicted in the Expressionistic form of Sengal, a Zen Buddhist Monk (1750-1837) who was famous both for his understanding of human nature and for the spontaneous drawings in which he captured the awareness of life. The Circle represents the infinite, the triangle the human in- tellect and the square, which doubles the triangle, indicates how the doubling process may proceed infinitely until we have in the words of the Chinese Philosopher, The Ten Thousand Things' the Universe. The entire calligraphy when read aloud expresses the quota- tion, (Graphic I) an explanation of the quotation, (Graphic II) an amplification of the explanation, (Graphic III) i.e. the Universe, in which we all live, stage our lives and either ex- perience growth through that deep inner experience or get bogged deep into the mire.
